PMBOK V6 Vs. PMBOK V5

PMBOK V6 has been released officially on 6th September, 2017. Nothing to worry about, for the candidates who have attended PMBOK V5 and are preparing for their final exam/test because good news is EXAM will change by 1st Quarter of 2018.

Below is a list of changes expected to be part of PMBOK V6 when compared to the PMBOK V5.

Change No. 01
"Agile" or "Adaptive" element of project management is added, wherever required in PMBOK V6.

Change No. 02
First 03 introductory modules have been merged focusing on PMI Talent Triangle (Leadership, Technical Project Management, Strategic and Business Management)

Change No. 03
NO new Knowledge Area has been added instead names of 02 Knowledge Areas have been changed. List below compiles the knowledge areas from both the versions.


Change No. 04
THREE new processes have been added, details below.


Change No. 05
TWO processes have been removed and are now merged with two other processes, details below.


Change No. 06
FIVE process names have been revised, details below.
